Sub-dividing a large suburban block introduced several challenges for building of the homes and landscaping, as it was a sloping site. The brief for landscaping was to create large outdoor useable spaces to compliment alfresco dining and family recreation for the backyard. The front yard was designed to compliment the features of the fascade, creating an inviting entrance and street appeal

The project needed to be completed in two stages. Several retaining walls were required to be built prior to construction of the buildings, as well as preparation of bulk earthworks and supply of landscape material to back yards while access was available.
After construction of the homes were completed, we were able to continue the landscaping with a minimum of fuss and to a relatively short time frame, whilst working in conjunction with other trades on site and their schedules (e.g. pool builder).
The clients chose a semi-formal, low-maintenance style of garden, with traditional plant selection of buxus, camelias, gardenias and magnolias, along with a variety of ground covers and ornamental grasses.
